SOFT RIP-STOP INTERIOR

Our interior fabric is breathable, lightweight, and super cozy, with a strong "rip-stop" weave to help prevent against damage (like from your dog's nails or something. But also, if your dog's nails are long, they deserve a mani/pedi too.)

BREATHABLE AIR-MESH SIDE VENTILATION

On both sides of our backpack, we included premium air-mesh fabric for ventilation that extends the length of the bag that is designed to help prevent your chonk from overheating.

TAIL PORT

This is easily our favorite feature. Now your chonk can let their fur flag fly. But it's not all fun and games. Using a tail port will decrease pressure on your pet's tail, while maintaining circulation to the area.

AUTO-LOCK ZIPPERS

We used top of the line materials to keep your little chonk safe. And as an added safety measure, the zipper comes with a reinforced pull-tab that locks into the top buckle.

HIGH STRENGTH BUCKLES

These buckles are so good, we delayed production by 6 weeks just to make sure we got them on our bags. That's actually true.

Of course! The Maxine One backpack comes in two sizes, small and medium, and each size is built to support a variety of different breeds.

"Amazing product! I am so happy I made the decision to buy this! My dog is thrilled riding bicycle with me now! I bought the Maxine One Medium since my dog weights around 17kg and according to the sizing kit this was the recommended size. The only thing I’m missing is the back support harness that the Brodie One has and it would be amazing to have a few pockets to carry a few things like water bottle and other things which makes me wonder if buying the Brodie One would have been better. Also, the strap that is used for the chest is not working, I tighten it and it un tightens right away. Besides that, I am extremely happy with my bag ad I do 100% recommend for your pup. I’ve gotten asked a few times already where I got this awesome bag!"

Great Backpack / fast delivery

"We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the backpack arrived from the USA to Luxembourg. Due to our dog's age and a minor heart condition, we were looking for a solution that would allow him to continue joining us on longer walks and trips. He is usually very anxious about anything new, so it took him a little time to adjust. However, after a short adaptation period, he is now completely comfortable in his new backpack. We absolutely love the Maxine One, and most importantly, so does our dog. It has made it possible for him to keep enjoying adventures with us."

The little chonk works better

"The little chonk works better than I expected. I have a very high energy small Boston Terrier. Although I had strong arm her into it which wasn’t hard once I got her back legs in she couldn’t move. I zipped it and she couldn’t get out even for a squirrel. The second time I used it she didn’t fight me and loved the ride. I got a small. She’s 15pounds but long and at the limit of the pack although she fits perfect. If she was much longer a medium would be good."

Awesome back pack! But snacc pacc is a must

"We loved our backpack! Now our pooch can come with us on the motorcycle. However, the snacc pacc is a must, cause otherwise the backpack keeps falling backwards on shorter people's backs like mine (i am 5'4") and sitting too much on the small of your back. the snacc pacc is out of stock but we were lucky to find a new one on ebay, and now the backpack is super nice! i especially appreciate how it keeps my dog in place no matter how much he moves, so he is safe. please bring back the snacc pacc!"

Hello people, You asked me

"Hello people, You asked me to respond to my purchase. Well. It's a beautiful bag. The dog that has to go in is called Fudge. It is so named because it has the color of the famous Scottish delicacy. He is our son's dog. In March of this year, something bad happened. Udge suffered a double hernia and he was completely paralyzed at the back. He had a major operation in April, and he now has to recover. He may be able to walk again in a few months, but that is not yet certain. We have now had a wheelchair made for him and with it he can walk shorter distances. But then came your Maxine backpack. And it is really beautiful. Because Fudge is now very used to treatment and care, he had no problem at all to go straight into the backpack. Now we can go out with him more easily and that is a big gain. We still have to ask the physiotherapist if this can't hurt his back. But we think that the backpack actually provides extra good support. You have done a wonderful job of it. Here are some pictures of our protégé."
