Two measurements are needed to see if your dog can fit in our big dog backpack. First, to find your dog’s back length, measure the distance between your dog’s neck and the base of their tail. Then, to find your dog’s girth, measure around the widest part of your dog, usually their ribcage.

We recommend giving your chonk a break and letting them stretch their legs after one hour of riding.

"We got our Brodie last week. We are excited to start using it to take him on short trips around town Right now we are still working on getting our golden retriever in. We practice every day, but struggle a bit because he won't lie on it in a straight line. Hopefully it will get easier in a week! Once he is in, the Brodie fits well and is sturdy. Do make sure to clip the zip on a clip, as once it unzipped on a bike test ride. We got XL brodie. Could possibly have gotten L instead, as he is quite deep in the bag. But I think he will be ok. Looking forward to our first trip soon!"
